Live Videomapping Cobra Museum

We kicked of the Moving Buildings Festival with a large videomapping on the Cobra Museum of Modern Art. Next to a “traditional mapping” we also developed an expressive live painted projection with the painter Rob Visje. After his performance people could make their own live paintings on the building! We were inspired by the famous documentary about Karel Appel (made by Jan Vrijman) where the painter is filmed through a hole in the canvas he’s painting on. This video is the livepainting by Rob Visje, the audience painting will follow later on!
